What we store

GuavaJobs stores account details you provide (name, email), profile fields, uploaded CVs, and application packages you generate or track. We use this data to run search, AI assistance, and your tracker.

AI and honesty

You review AI output before sending anything to an employer. Cover letters are grounded in your profile and parsed CV text. We do not sell your CV.

Retention

• Replaced CVs: the previous file is deleted from storage when you upload a new one. Application snapshots keep their own copied file and the generated text, not the old profile file.
• Application packages and tracker events: retained while your account exists.
• LLM prompt/debug logs: operational retention up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymised.

Account deletion

Signed-in users can erase their account from Settings → Delete account. That immediately deletes your profile, CVs, applications, analytics tied to you, and your login. If the button fails, email privacy@guavajobs.app from the address on your account.

Analytics

PostHog EU and Vercel Analytics load only after you accept analytics cookies. Reject means we do not set those analytics cookies. You can change this later in Settings. Required cookies for sign-in stay on.

Processors

Infrastructure includes Supabase (auth, Postgres, storage), hosting for the API and web app, optional analytics (PostHog EU, Vercel) after consent, and LLM providers via OpenRouter for generation. Job listings may include Adzuna data subject to their terms.
